Founded in 2019, VantaGear emerged from a simple observation: the fitness industry was flooded with mediocre equipment dressed in loud colors and empty promises. We set out to create something different.
The Birth of Vantablack Performance
Our founder, a former competitive boxer and materials engineer, became fascinated with vantablack — the darkest man-made substance on Earth, absorbing 99.965% of visible light.
He saw potential beyond its scientific applications. What if this technology could be adapted to create gym equipment that was not just visually striking, but functionally superior?
After three years of development, VantaGear launched its first collection: boxing gloves with a proprietary coating that reduced visibility of wear, maintained temperature regulation, and delivered an aesthetic unlike anything the market had seen.
